I have been working as a voluntry coordinator in big festivals for fifteen years. The greatest part of my time went to micro managing: I sent non personalized mass mail messages and group messages, and organized afterwards the answers (or lack of them).

Based on research by the Ruralia institute of the University of Helsinki, the value of voluntary work is six times the investment. Voluntary work is work that is not payed. Anybody can do voluntary work indipendent of age, social status, or location, based on his/her capabilities, possibilities, and available time.

Based on UN voluntary work principles, voluntary work is about personal free choice, which makes it possible to address humanitarian, environmental or social questions.

By using Zelos technology, we want to advance voluntary work.
